Marred Airship is my solo side project. If you get a commission, this is closer to what it will likely sound like.

Marred Airship is a lot different than Clarkfield, and I'm the only one that works on it. If you hear anything at all, it was done by me.
Clarkfield is a much more traditional songwriting style; guitars, drums, singing, bass guitar, typical structures, the list goes on. With Marred Airship, though, I sought to do something different.
At first, Fireworks Somewhere Else was going to be a much more traditional album as well. I planned on doing something more varied sonically, with some songs being experimental and others traditional. I was going to sing, and the song structures were going to be more typical of pop music. Then, one day, I got my first physical synth, a Novation MiniNova, and in order to learn how to use the instrument, I decided to write an entire song using it exclusively. The result was the opener, Shimmer. I enjoyed it so much more than what I'd been working on for this album, and so I decided to put that to use and make an electronic album instead. Some of the songs ended up being ambient, some more experimental, some of them weird. I'm generally very proud of this album. "Snowglobes" in particular is the song I'm most proud of between all three albums (so far) that I've made.
A second album is in the works. No info yet :>
